In the Spirit of our upcoming Thanks Giving holiday I’ve been thinking about all the things I’m truly thankful for. And I’m reminded of how blessed I am.
Yes I’m thankful. I’m thankful to be in this country. But I’m not thankful for what this country does for me; I’m thankful for what this country allows me to do for it. Living here I’ve been blessed beyond measure. I’ve been able to freely build my family. Freely worship where I choose. Freely earn a living. Freely chase my dreams. Freely build businesses that injects culture and life back into the city around me. Being here allows me to raise responsible children that also have the fire to find, build and create. I’m thankful that today I’m free. I am free not because of what you give me. I’m free because of what I’m allowed to give to you. And in that I’m eternally thankful.
Be thankful and find ways to be a blessing to others. You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through this your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.
