“Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love”
Wow what is there left to say about being a man or leader? In a time where slothfulness is rewarded, lack of solid core values encouraged, proper leadership maligned and fighting for personal success frowned upon, this seems to ring a bell for me. I believe that you are acting in love towards your fellow man when you are pursuing your passions and building upon your dreams. You being in your lane will ultimately raise the bar of those around you and that is the success we all should be fighting for. Influencing others into a better position in life is success. It’s been said to “love all and serve all.” This type of high level success can only be achieved in love through passion in pursuit of your calling.
Men who do not honor their family and children aren’t true men. They are simply playing house as kindergartner would. Men who don’t strive to bring the baseline up for those around them will ultimately become dead weight. If everything you do is done in love, the result will be you becoming the leader you are called to be.
