From the get-go, HoldFast’s allegiance lies in this: steadfast dedication to professional photographers and the systems they utilize. Committed to paving the way, HoldFast gear accentuates style while also performing comfortably and efficiently. Responsible for creating a new genre within the industry, we’re changing the way photographers look and feel while doing their best work.

In this series, you’ll hear stories of HoldFast gear and the photographers–the pioneers, the adventurers, the originals–that use them. This is How You HoldFast.

There’s something about a HoldFast Money Maker that photographer’s don’t necessarily take into consideration right off the bat. Yes, the Money Maker essentially eliminates any sort of discomfort one might be feel from carrying gear around, and yes it does stand to reason that it’s the best looking camera gear on the market–hands down. But what one might not count on is it’s organizational ability; and that, in and of itself, is a game changer.

Seattle photographers Tim and Laura Sullivan of Sullivan & Sullivan have been shooting full time for just over three years, capturing everything from weddings to small commercial shoots. (They’re also expert branding specialists, at that.) Laura says prior to their investment in Money Makers–a his and hers set of Bridle Leathers in each color–the hassle of hauling gear was ridiculous.

We we constantly running around trading lenses, forgetting where we put them during a ceremony; the unprofessional list of things I don’t want to admit we did to keep track of our lenses goes on and on!”

The Sullivans knew immediately that HoldFast’s solution to the ‘how do I carry this?’ quandary for photographers was it for them, right down to the very first ceremony they shot.

“The ceremony is the only part of the day when every single lens really comes in handy, and to feel so much more calm and pulled together with our gear options made it so much more fun as photographers,” Laura says.

As the industry’s leading multi-camera carrying system, the Money Maker is designed to carry one, two, or even three camera bodies for photographers, exactly where they need them: on their person. Because of its design, it eases an insane amount of tension one might feel when lugging around hefty lens and cameras and everything else; by redistributing the weight around the midline, the Money Maker is not only functional, but comfortable.

“We love how between the two of us, we can plan our gear setup, attach them to our bodies, and just forget about it for the rest of the day,” Laura explains. “If before we could compose a shot for our 85mm, then pause and decide how we were going to frame for the 45mm TS, then again for a 35mm, now we can switch off and get twice as many frame styles in a shorter amount of time. We’re able to shoot so much more quickly and thoroughly.”

In addition to being something that Sullivan & Sullivan can carry around with comfort, the Money Maker has served to be something they can also carry around with confidence. HoldFast believes form and function are not mutually exclusive, and has designed a product that turns heads.

Laura’s thoughts on what the look of a Money Maker provides: “reliable conversation starters. Every single wedding, guests comment on how ‘they knew we didn’t come to play’ as soon as they see them.”
